Our trip to Nepal starts today. A representative of the Taleju Adventure will greet you at the airport. Then we drop at your hotel, where you can rest, refresh and drink local tea. In the evening you can enjoy a welcome dinner organized by the Taleju Adventure. During dinner you can enjoy Nepalese cuisine. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Today we visit the World Heritage sites of UNESCO. These sites highlight Nepal's cultural and religious heritages. Our first stop will be Kathmandu's Durbar Square, which shows the rich architectural skill of Kathmandu during the Malla Dynasty (C1201-1769), and then the Swayambhunath Stupa, which tourists commonly call the 'Temple of the Apes' due to the large population of monkeys in the vicinity. The next is the Pashupatinath Temple, which is one of the most sacred pilgrimage sites for Hindus around the world, followed by the Buddhist shrine of Boudhanath, which is one of the largest stupas in the world. Finally, late in the evening, we gather together at your staying hotel for a brief orientation on our hike for next day. Overnight in Kathmandu.

We fly to Pokhara early in the morning. As soon as we land in Pokhara, we will notice the spectacular view of the Himalayas with which the city is adorned. We can see Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Machhapuchhare, the five summits of Annapurna and others. From Pokhara, we head to Naya Pul and start the trek. We cross a forest of valleys, than cross Khola Bhurundi before reaching the village of Tikhedhunga. Ulleri Hill, with more than thousands of steps and continually rising rocks, will be a test of our resistance. We arrived in Ulleri in the evening. Overnight in Ulleri.

After breakfast, we climb the village of Ghorepani by a stone staircase. As we ascend, we admire the spectacular scenery, while Annapurna South occupies an important place, which comes and goes from our point of view. We shall pass through waterfalls, small towns and several tea houses before arriving at Ghorepani. We will stop at the highest part of the village of Ghorepani with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains, including the Annapurna South and Nilgiri Mountains. The Ghorepani village has small shops that sell local products such as handbags and handicrafts. The village also has a good Wi-Fi connection. Night in Ghorepani.

We wake up early in the morning to get to Poon Hill just in time to see the sunrise over the Himalayas. Poon Hill is the most popular destination to enjoy close-up views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges and watch the sunrise from these majestic mountains. From Poon Hill, we also get incredible views of Mustang, Pokhara and more than 20 of the highest mountains. After having a cup of coffee or local chai(tea), we return to Ghorepani. After our lunch here and then we walk to east and climb a ridge. Our path descends through rhododendron forests and waterfalls before reaching Tadapani. Night in Tadapani.

The trail begins with a descent into a large forest of rhododendrons. The forest path ends and our path opens onto magnificent terraced fields. We walk about 5 km upstream, pass through the waterfalls and arrive at a suspension bridge. Suspension bridges are very common in the hilly area and mountainous regions of Nepal. A few additional kilometers of uphill and downhill hiking, we will arrive at our destination, Chhomrong. It is a beautiful village just below the giant Annapurna massif. We will spend the night in Chhomrong.

We leave Chhomrong and walk on a series of stone steps before arriving at Chhomrong Khola. We cross a suspension bridge over the river and begin to climb towards Sinuwa. Our path crosses a beautiful forest to Kuldihar. From there, we embark on an easy descent to bamboo. Bamboo Night.

Here before we reach Deurali we are going through a bamboo forest which is wet and cold. Then we climb sometimes a steep road. Only after arriving at the small villages containing hotel and lodges, the forest opens up and we are again exposed to the sun with an impressive view of the glacier river. It is a steep climb through a much drier forest before reaching the Hinku cave. From there, our path descends to a river before climbing Deurali. From here we can enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding hills and Mt. Dhaulagiri. We notice that the vegetation has become rare, allowing magical views of the valley, the river below and the cliffs adorned with waterfalls. Night in Deurali.

We follow the path of the valley in a regular climb. The trail adheres us to a rocky cliff and is sometimes steep. We walk along a fairly flat path before going to Machhapurchre base camp. From here we have an excellent view of the Mt. Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Annapurna III, the Gandharvachuli and Gangapurna mountains. We turn left and begin to climb slowly towards the Annapurna base camp. During our ascent, we can admire the spectacular views of the Himalayan panorama. Walking further, we reached the base camp of Mt. Annapurna and it's amazing. We are surrounded by beautiful peaks and the only way to get there is to cross the gorge in which we have just walked. Overnight at Annapurna base camp

From Annapurna Base Camp, our trail descends rapidly through Machhapuchhre Base Camp, Deurali and Doban and finally to Bamboo where we spend the night. Today's descent is downhill so it should not be very difficult. Bamboo night.

We take our step back in order to return to Chhomrong where we stop for lunch. From Chomrong, the descent is steep towards the Modi Khola valley. The stone steps leading to Chhomrong are as delicate as before. The path then descends to Jhinu Danda, where we will rest at night. On the way, we can enjoy our walk through tropical forests and farms. After arriving at Jhinu Danda, we can spend the rest of the afternoon resting and relaxing. We will spend the night in Jhinu Danda.

We leave Jhinu Danda early in the morning and enjoy the beautiful mountainous landscape of western Nepal towards Naya Pul. We have lunch on the way. The walk to the Annapurna Sanctuary and back ends today. We board our vehicle to Pokhara. Overnight in Pokhara.

We fly to Kathmandu early in the morning. After landing at the airport, you will be dropped to the hotel. You can spend the day taking the rest you need or making some last minute purchases.
